FIFA 17 Update Patch 1.09 Is Now Available For PS4 and Xbox One

Electronic Arts has now released the update patch 1.09 for FIFA 17 on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. Make sure to download the update the next time you start the game. According to the message that pops up when you go to play FIFA 17, the update includes "general stability fixes".

The new FIFA 17 update has already been available on PC six or seven days ago and it weighs 455 MB and improves the performance, increasing the overall stability of the game and solving some minor bugs. It’s now live on PS4 and Xbox One today.

The only patch notes provided is that it has a "general stability fixes". This should be one of the last updates of the game because the new game should be on the horizon.

The message added, “Thanks to those who provided feedbacks. Throughout the course of the FIFA 17 season we’ll provide you with more information and updates if and when they become available.”

According to the latest financial report which is revealed by EA, FIFA 17 has seen more than 21 million total players, and more than 12 million players have tried out The Journey story mode.

EA Sports plans to release FIFA 18 later this year on game consoles and PC, by the end of September 2017 maybe. And FIFA 18 is expected to be the first FIFA title to enter the Nintendo Switch console. EA Play may be an event  where more details about the next iteration will be made.
