EA Sports Reveals Three New 'Ones to Watch' Cards for FIFA 18 Players Coutinho, Sanchez and Mkhitaryan

Jan 29,2018

'Ones to Watch' cards are a fairly new feature in the FIFA 18 Ultimate Team, and they have considerable unique ability to change throughout the season.

Some players who have made big moves in the transfer window get these special cards, and EA Sports has just revealed three new names for you to add to your collection.

Alexis Sanchez has moved to Manchester United, Henrikh Mkhitaryan has gone the way to Arsenal, and Philippe Coutinho has made a big fortune in Barcelona, all of them get new FUT cards now.

These three players will be dynamically upgraded as the season goes on. For example, if there is a member in your team and that player gets a Team of the Week upgrade, then the upgrade will also apply to your Ones to Watch card.

Their data will be automatically upgraded, whether they are in your club or on the transfer market.

These cards are reserved for high profile players but, interestingly, they must be under the age of 30 to be eligible.

Another point to note is that if a Ones to Watch player has an in-form card or other upgrade that changes their position, their statistics will change, but the position will remain the same.

The original news from EA Sports states that these are the "first three" Ones to Watch players in the winter transfer window, so we can expect more to be revealed in the coming days.

There are rumors saying that with big transfers surrounding a number of top clubs, there may be some very interesting cards coming to the FUT in early February.

After the summer transfer window, a few of the players who received Ones to Watch cards include Neymar, Romelu Lukaku, and Mohamed Salah.
